How to Install Google Apps on Cyanogenmod CM11 ROM

After installing Cyanogenmod ROM on your device, next you will have to install the Google Apps package with the help of custom recovery. You need to read below mentioned steps very carefully:

Instructions to Install Google Apps on Cyanogenmod CM11 ROM

Step (1): At first, download the Google Apps package for your android device. (The downloaded file will be a zip file. please, don’t extract the folder)

Step (2): Now you have to move the downloaded Gapps zip folder on your android device with the help of USB cable.


Step (3): When the zip file is moved successfully then switch off your device and wait for almost 5 to 7 seconds.

Step (4): After that boot your android device in recovery mode.

Step (5): Now, you will be able to see the custom recovery main menu on the screen. Here you have to tap on the “Install Zip From Sdcard” or similar, and just after that tap on the option of “Choose Zip From Sdcard”.

Step (6): Then browse the ZIP file that you moved on your android phone and install it on your device.

Step (7): Here you need to keep patience because the installation process will take few time. Once the installation is completed, you have to reboot your android device and you are done.
